Privacy Notice (KVKK)

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Nursamet Yardımedici as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Personal data processed

Identity: first and last name.

Contact: email address and, if provided, phone number.

Request details: the topic you select and your message; for speaker invitations, the event name, date, city/venue and expected attendance.

Transaction security: IP address, date/time and browser information kept in the hosting infrastructure's technical logs.

3. Purposes

Receiving, evaluating and responding to your contact, partnership, press and speaker invitation requests; keeping the website secure and preventing abuse (spam).

4. Legal grounds

Your data is processed under KVKK Art. 5/2-c (directly related to establishing or performing a contract), Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest of the data controller) and, for transfers abroad, Art. 9 based on the explicit consent you give in the form.

5. Method of collection

Your data is collected electronically, by non-automated means, when you fill in the contact and speaker invitation forms on this site; technical logs are collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure.

6. Transfers

Form submissions are delivered to the data controller's mailbox through our email provider Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). The site is hosted on Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA). As these providers' servers are located abroad, the transfer relies on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 9.

Your data is not shared with third parties except at the request of legally authorised public authorities, and is never used for marketing.

7. Retention

Data submitted through the forms is kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and in any case for no more than 2 (two) years, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Cookies and local storage

The site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Only a strictly necessary language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers your language choice, and your browser's session storage (sessionStorage) is used to shorten the opening animation within the same session. Neither contains personal data.

9. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deletion or destruction; to request that such actions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

10. How to apply

You can submit requests regarding your rights via the contact form on this site by selecting the "Other" topic and writing "KVKK Request" in your message. Requests are resolved free of charge within 30 days at the latest, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
